The heat has taken a toll on everybody. Kids, working people, non-working people, everybody feels the heat!
Why not try some salad and fruits!
1) WaterMelon and Mint
Here’s the magic trick:
To enjoy watermelon, they need to really chilled! Add some fresh mint leaves, lemon and Chat Masala. Money Back guarantee if you don’t like them!
2) Sprouted Moong Salad
The sprouted moong is a very healthy option. It’s as easy as 123.
To make sprout, first of all, you need to keep the moong in water for about 8 hours. After that time, the moong will have absorbed mostly all of the water. Wash and rinse properly. Now, take a clean cloth, put all the moong over and wrap it. Make sure, you wrap them air-tight and sprinkle very little amount of water on the cloth. The idea is to keep it cool from outside and packed from inside. After some 5 hours or so, you will observe, these tiny little beautiful sprouts coming out of them.
Cut some onions and tomato. Add the sprouts, squeeze a lemon and salt to taste. Mix it properly and there you have, your fresh sprouted salad!
and now my favorite…
3) Cold Macaroni Fruit Salad
By now, you all must have observed my love for pasta. If not, check out my White Pasta and 5 Unknown Facts about Italian Cuisine post
Abra ka dabra:
You can have all the fruits you want, but I like my macaroni salad with just apple and carrots. Cut them into very small pieces. Side by side, boil the macaroni. Once macaroni is cooked properly, rinse it with cold water so that they don’t stick together.
Now, comes the fusion. Mix the macaroni and fruits together. Take some mayonnaise and fresh cream. Crush some pepper and add very little salt to it. Mix it properly and keep the salad in refrigerator to get cool.
This particular salad may not be very healthy but it sure is very tasty! Heavenly would be the perfect synonym.
